Environs
Boswednack lies within a landscape of small fields based on prehistoric boundaries that are over two thousand years old.

The Cornish hedges (stone banks with an earth core) overflow with wild flowers in spring and early summer. Our own organic meadows are a haven for grassland butterflies and other small beasts that cannot survive in silage fields.

Over 100 species of birds have been seen here since 1984 and 20 have bred in our three acres which are also home to more than 200 species of native plants.
Year round interest
A profusion of bluebells in May, cliffs and hedges a mass of colour at their peak in early June....

Glorious sandy beaches, sea swimming and festivals in high summer....

Galleries, gardens, stately homes, restaurants, open-air theatres.......

Seabird migration in September, stormy seas in autumn and winter – walking year-round.

Visit in any season and be inspired.
